In 1998, as growth plans for Indian operations were put into place, Rajnish Wadhawan was instrumental in acquiring the Hyundai dealership at South Delhi. Under his dynamic leadership, the dealership has grown multifold both in size and volume. In fact, Samara Hyundai is the first Hyundai dealership to cross first 5000 cars sale on all India bases in February' 2000 (within 15 months of operations). This consistent growth has led the turnover to skyrocket by 700% to 225 crs in 2010-2011.
The human resources at Samara Hyundai have been nurtured carefully and successfully. At current basis, the TEAM SAMARA has crossed 500 people inclusive of sales and service. This dedicated and motivated team has been the driving force to provide highest level of Customer Satisfaction and record the largest sales of Hyundai cars from a single Dealership.
The infrastructure of the Dealership has kept pace with its growth. The Showroom and additional infrastructure facilities were doubled in size in the year 2000 in order to market and deliver over 500 cars per month. The service network has constantly been upgraded and expanded. With the integrated flagship workshop at Okhla, additional workshops were opened in all 4 major zones in New Delhi taking capacity to service a whopping 6000 cars per month. In the current year, a 5th service center is being set up at Kirti Nagar Industrial Area to serve our customers in West Delhi. Our Stockyard is built in Mehrauli, South Delhi covering an area of one acre. The facility can receive, process and deliver over 50 vehicles on a daily basis.
